These low wooden platforms, known as bajots, were originally used in Rajasthan as chopping boards. Handcrafted from reclaimed wood about 50 years ago, they bear the marks of daily use. Each piece is distinct in size and form.

No longer used in kitchens, they now serve as versatile objects in the home. They can be placed as display risers, bases for sculptures or planters, or left as sculptural accents that add character to a space.
