Once used in Rajasthan households for grinding spices and herbs, these kharals are hand-carved from solid stone and marble. Each piece carries its own form, tone, and surface wear from decades of use, with natural veining that highlight the character of the material. Today, they work well as sculptural accents — styled as a tabletop piece, a catchall for small objects, or simply left bare to show their raw, textural presence.
